2025 HYFL FEES & DEADLINES
REGISTRATION:
February 1st - July 15th

Prep for Tackle - 3rd & 4th Grade - $160
Tackle - 5th & 6th Grade - $160
Register during the month of February for a $10 discount
*Divisions will be decided based on player enrollment
SCHEDULE
Practice will be 3x per week. Start week of July 27
Monday - 6-8 PM (Prep and Tackle). Prep will end at 7:30
Tuesday - 6-7:30 PM (Prep only)
Wednesday - 6-8 PM (Tackle only)
Thursday - 6-8 PM (Prep and Tackle). Prep will end at 7:30
Prep Games will be at 9AM and 10AM on Saturdays.
Tackle Games will be will follow Prep games at 11AM, 12:15PM and 1:30PM
After the first week of games are played, all practices will end at 7:30.
The above schedule is subject to change based on registration numbers.
ALL STAR SELECT TEAM
After the HYFL season, an all-star select team will be formed for each grade level if supported by the number of players and coaches. These teams will travel to Indianapolis to play in the Indy Crossroads tournament.
PROVIDED EQUIPMENT
HYFL will provide a practice jersey, game jersey, helmet, shoulder pads, and mouthpiece. All equipment other than mouthpieces will need to be returned after the season.

EVALUATIONS
Our evaluation dates for Homestead Youth Football League are spent collecting player metrics and observing skills so that we can "score" a player. We do this to establish a baseline score when forming each team for the league. We have also asked our coaches to "score" our returning players based on their level of play in 2025. Our goal is to make all teams competitive with a focus on development. Player evaluations & Weigh-Ins will be:
July 16th from 5:30 - 8:30PM (PFT 5:30-7 and Tackle 7-8:30)
July 19th from 1 - 4PM (PFT 1-2:30 and Tackle 2:30-4)
Final Make-up TBD
Please check in at Door 1 upon arrival. After check in, players will move to the practice turf field for evaluations. We plan to have 5 stations for evaluations that they will rotate through. Once they have completed each station they are free to go. Your player only needs to attend ONE of these days.
SPECIAL NOTES
-Safety is our #1 Priority
-We are in need of volunteers - coaches, concessions, chain gang, etc.
-Coaches will be required to attend a Coach's Clinic prior to being able to coach.
-Coach's Clinic will be held on July 14th and July 21st. Both clinics will begin at 6 PM in the Citadel.
-Please ensure that your child always has plenty of water.
-Please clean up after yourself. Help us keep our facilities clean.
