The launch of HYFL is meant to prepare student athletes for their growth for the middle school and high school. They will receive coaching that will prepare them for the next level(s) of tackle football. Our goal with this league is to give them the best opportunities to learn and love the game of football. As a league we wish to encourage and support the development of your child. Along the way we want to grow their love for the game and prepare them to join Homestead Football in the years to come.

**Based on numbers there is a possibility 5th and 6th grade will be split into their own divisions.

The launch of HYFL is meant to prepare student athletes for their growth for the middle school and high school. They will receive coaching that will prepare them for the next level(s) of tackle football. Our goal with this league is to give them the best opportunities to learn and love the game of football. This division is fully padded; however, there is no tackling. It will be full contact in terms of blocking and block destruction. Each player will wear flags instead and have their flag pulled. It will be a 7v7 format.

There will be an evaluation day prior to team selection and handing out equipment.
